What’s Next

Your claim will be assigned to an authorized service provider in your area (if available), to execute the replacement of your unit. Factory will notify you when authorized service provider is assigned. The authorized service provider will contact you directly to schedule an appointment when replacement units are available. If authorized service provider is not available, factory will contact you directly to work out arrangements for the replacement install of the unit.

Your unit will be replaced free of charge by an authorized service provider. Due to the heightened demand for ultraviolet technology and equipment in response to COVID-19, the timetable for Neptune Benson to execute the replacement is uncertain, and there could be delays between the receipt of this request and the service visit.

Destruction of Generator

To qualify for the refund, we need you to cut the power cord of your Delta UV-EA-4H-10 in order to render it inoperable. We also ask that you write your initials and today’s date on the generator. Then take a photo and upload it.

What you should do:

  1. BEFORE BEGINNING, make sure your model EA-4H-10 generator is unplugged from its power source. Instructions for how to safely disable the generator are available here and from a link in the banner at the top of this page.
  2. Find the Ballast and follow the cord to the where it attaches to the generator. See The Disconnect Instructions pdf to identify the Ballast and find where the cord attaches to the generator
  3. Using wire cutters cut the cord anywhere between the Ballast and the generator so that the Ballast can be removed with the Generator remaining piped into the system.
  4. Remove the Ballast and write your initials and today’s date on the Ballast.
  5. Take a picture of the Ballast showing the cut end and your initials with the date.
  6. When you receive your refund, you can throw away the Ballast.
